Giuliana Marple

Founder

Giuliana Marple is a teaching faculty and Lecturer of Italian. She received a Master in Foreign Language Teaching from the University of Utah. Among her many work adventures she worked for two Olympic Commitees in Salt Lake City and Turin, Italy. She collaborates with the SLC mayor's office and the Italian Consulate in SLC for Italian cultural exchanges. It is her love for art, history and people which has led her to become an international travel educator. Giuliana loves to cycle and has a very soft spot for horses!

Katherine Chipman

Program Assistant

Katherine received her master’s degree in music from the University of Utah. She loves to travel and has been involved in various project abroad including running an afterschool kindergarten in Tainan, Taiwan and building a hospital in Tijuana, Mexico. When she is not teaching, singing with the Mapleton Chorale, or studying music you most likely will find her somewhere in the mountains hanging off a cliff. Next to music, her biggest passion is rock climbing.
